Why I Started ZenTyme Threads

Life gets loud. Work, family, the endless ping of notifications—there’s always something asking for attention. I love those parts of my life, but every now and again I need my Zen Time—that pocket of quiet where the world narrows to what’s right in front of me.

For me, that’s a motorcycle.

There’s a particular kind of calm that arrives the instant the visor drops. The checklist starts: breath steady, eyes up, body loose. Then it’s throttle, lean angle, entry, apex, exit—repeat. The road becomes a string of decisions that demand total focus, and in that focus, everything else falls away. Bills, emails, errands—they wait. For a few miles, I get to recenter. I’ve found the same feeling whether I’m carving sweepers in the mountains or working a clean line on a track day. Different roads, same reset.

Over the years, I kept hearing the same thing from other riders: “Yeah, that’s my zen time too.” It didn’t matter if they were on an ADV bike, a sportbike, a cruiser, or a café build. New rider or lifelong road junkie. City loops or BDRs. We were all chasing that same quiet focus—the kind you only find when the horizon is moving and the tires are warm.

ZenTyme Threads was born out of that shared feeling.

I wanted a brand that spoke to the headspace we enter when we ride—not just the horsepower, not just the badge on the tank. A brand built around the ritual of riding: the pre-ride coffee, the route scribbled on a napkin, the first turn onto a gravel road, the last glance in the mirror before rolling out. I wanted gear that says “this is who I am” without shouting, and that feels good whether you’re five hours into a mountain run or grabbing tacos after.

What ZenTyme Means to Me

  • Focus: Riding is a moving meditation. The throttle is a dial on your attention, the lean angle a conversation with gravity. Each curve asks for your best, and answering it clears the mind like nothing else.

  • Freedom: Not just the big miles. Freedom can be 30 minutes before dinner or a sunrise lap around the block. Time carved out on purpose.

  • Community: Your zen time is personal, but you’re not alone. Every wave from a rider going the other way is a reminder that someone else gets it.

Why Apparel?

Because what we wear can be a small daily reminder of what matters. I wanted designs that:

  • Celebrate the craft of riding—the line, the lean, the rhythm.

  • Start conversations—so you can find “your people” in a coffee line or paddock.

  • Hold up to real life—soft enough for the long haul, durable enough for repeated rides, and clean enough to wear anywhere.

Mountains, Track, and Everywhere Between

Whether you find your flow on a mountain pass, a tight city loop, or chasing tenths on a track day, it’s all ZenTyme. Some rides feel like music; others feel like work—in the best way. On gravel, the bike talks back with every pebble. On track, it’s surgical: braking markers, body position, timing. Both require presence. Both give peace.

The Promise

ZenTyme Threads exists to honor the time you take for yourself and the craft you practice on two wheels. No gimmicks. No fake “lifestyle.” Just well-made pieces for riders who understand that a good line through a corner can reset a week.

If our gear reminds you to make room for your next ride—or helps you spot a fellow rider who gets it—then it’s doing exactly what I hoped it would.

Join the Ride

Grab the throttle. Find your line. Make time for your zen.

I’ll see you out there—somewhere between the entry and the exit, where everything else finally goes quiet.
